I was led here by a friend who was thrilled to find an authentic Thai food stall in the heart of Orchard Road. It was a simple set up where you can either order hot cooked dishes or select from a choice of pre cooked dishes very much like the “vegetable rice” stalls you find in the hawker centres.

We tried the som tam (papaya salad), tom yum goong (spicy prawn soup), Thai sausages, green curry and a fried fish in red curry. The food was mild and average.

Our bill came up to a very affordable S$15 (US$8.50) each. It opens till late (5am I was told), which makes it a great place to stop by to soak up the scene at this infamous building and for some late night Thai food!
