Luk Yu Tea House, Kuala Lumpur

We decided to drop by Luk Yu for its dim sum and also because it was the busiest of all the restaurants there. They have a halal menu which means that all the traditional dim sum selection is made from either chicken, beef or seafood. It was well done and didn’t detract from the flavour inspite of the substitutions. We tried an array of items: carrot cake (top), cheong fun (steamed rice noodle rolls), chicken char siew baos (steamed chicken buns) and even a beef noodle soup. A nice lunch stop while shopping along Bukit Bintang.
