This was the star of the meal : kimchi (spicy preserved cabbage) fried rice. Rice, chilli paste and kimchi was added to what was left of the bulgogi on the hot plate, stirred up and left to crisp with the heat of the hot plate. The heat, the burnt bits, the texture from the kimchi and sprouts added so many dimensions to an otherwise ordinary dish. I was told that this is typically served at home but can be found in most Korean restaurants. Very divine.
